Tucked away within the serene embrace of Yarramalong Manor, our story unfolds with a vision born in 2017 when Family members Aurora, Mathew, Elizabeth, Terry and Deborah infused this charming property with new life, united by a shared purpose—to craft a sanctuary where the warmth of home intertwines with the spirit of community.
Derived from the poetic Italian phrase meaning “Angels Whispers,” our name resonates with the soulful inspiration behind our endeavor. It was a whisper from within that led Aurora to acquire the Manor, driven by a clear vision of creating a space where cherished moments find expression amidst the embrace of loved ones.
Our retreat offers a haven where time slows, beckoning you to disconnect from chaos and reconnect
with yourself and nature. Whether you seek a private gathering, community event, intimate wedding, or
special occasion, our enchanting venue opens its doors to weave your unique story into the tapestry of

Our sustainability practises
- We cultivate produce on-site in our herb and edible flower garden and vegetable plots at Rustic Nest Yarramalong.
- Food waste is repurposed for local farms and our own worm farm.
- Coffee grounds and eggshells nourish our gardens, and surplus produce is shared generously with the community
- Rainwater collected from our roof is channeled into our at capacity 60,000 ltr tanks for water conservation.
- Waste is treated through eco-friendly systems and repurposed to nourish our gardens.
- Single-use plastics are replaced with sustainable alternatives.
- Harsh chemicals are substituted with natural products and oils in our cleaning practices
- All beverage containers are diligently recycled
- Our operations are powered sustainably by an impressive array of 68 solar panels.
- We have a sharing book library where you can drop off your old books and browse the shelves for new ones.
